Our Team
Jamie Malin, Owner
Jamie oversees the operations of Vail Cabinets. His roles include new business development, estimating, and finance. An avid biker, Jamie spends as much time as he can outdoors on his bike or skis. He is also the President and a founding board member of Vail Valley Mountain Trails Alliance. He volunteers a significant amount of his time with VVMTA to increase and improve the valley's trail systems.
Christy Geyer, Designer
Christy brings over 15 years of experience in the construction industry. She has co-owned a general contracting firm here in the valley, she owned an interior design firm and has worked in all facets of the cabinet industry. Her cabinet resume includes working at a large custom cabinet manufacturer verifying designs, cut listing orders and providing design and style recommendations to keep the company up with current trends. After that she spent time as a kitchen designer for a large builder in Mesa County before moving back home to Eagle County where we were lucky enough to land her on our team.
Caddis, Showroom Co-Manager, AKBD
Caddis is also a 10-year old Lab/Hound mix. She has never met a stranger. She is Vail Cabinets' top salesperson(salesdog) When she is not getting belly rubs and ear scratches she enjoys running with her fellow clydesdale dad and chasing the tennis ball until your arm falls off.
Rory, Showroom Co-Manager, AKBD
Rory is a 5-year old Kelpie/Border Collie/McNabb mix. Her role at Vail Cabinets includes destroying brand new dog toys and herding the mop. She enjoys snuggling with her family, stealing the ball from Caddis, running with mom, MTBing with dad, hiking and skinning.
Joe Thomas, Installer
Jee is our lead cabinet installer and has 10 years of experience in the industry. He is widely regarded as the most talented trim carpenter in the Valley. He is an outdoor fanatic and enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking. Joe is originally from Texas but the mountain lifestyle drew him to Colorado.
